We had called multiple other places, and they were all so busy they either weren't taking new clients, or they didn't even bother to call us back after we left a message. After a web search, I happened across Martin's Pest Control. I gave a quick call, and was surprised when Weston (the owner) answered the call on the second ring. He indicated he could be out before the end of the week, and for our situation, we likely would not need to be on site, which is wonderful, avoiding missing any work time. For us, the yellow jackets were entering on a corner of the house, approximately 18' up. We tried myriad sprays, across many brands and formulas. Some of these would kill a few bees, but were having no appreciable impact on the overall problem. Due to the height, we weren't going to put ourselves in a position to get swarmed while high up a ladder, so we couldn't try Sevin or the like. Weston was true to his word, contacting me two days after I spoke with him, indicating he was en route. I got home from work as he was finishing up. He took the time to explain to me what he had done, why, and what the nature of the issue was. This is a problem we've battled for weeks, and Weston took care of it with zero stress or inconvenience on our part. To boot, I had researched average pricing for this sort of work. I was charged less than what I expected, they took care of the yellow jackets and wasps, and even found and treated a few small wasp nests under our porch, which I had not yet found.
